World Choir Championship 2009

INTERKULTUR in collaboration with the Province of Gyeongnam will present the 1st Grand Prix of Choral Music! With this competition an event shall be established where invited top choirs of the world may compare their skills in a contest. It is combined with two other big events: the 2nd Asian Choir Games and the Korean International Open Competition. The Korean International Open Competition is dedicated to all choirs of the world.



The best choirs from both competitions will have the opportunity to qualify for the Grand Prix of Choral Music.

In addition to the choir groups, the event will also welcome all kinds of instrumental groups and instrumentalists as well as folkdance groups!

A fund raising activity primarily to support the top most on-going programs & projects of KIDS Foundation; RED Undernutrition, 100 KIDScholars & Medical-Financial Aid.
