Composed of professionals,students and home-makers, TINIG ZONE FIVE CHOIR (TZ5) is basically a church (mixed) choir serving OLMMP for 29 years (the group being formed last October 1978). It is also currently one of the resident choirs of Christ the King Parish in Greenmeadows, QC (the engagement started in 2005).
As music enthusiasts and performers, the choir was once hailed as one of Manila's finest (with honors brought home from several local competitions), and has continued to stage solo concerts of different themes (classical, religious and modern/popular music)
- the recent one staged for 2 nights last June 30 & July 1, 2007.
Since 2003, the choir is privileged to have as its resident conductor and musical director - Frederick de Santos - a professional musical conductor and former San Miguel Master Chorale member.
As a non-profit organization, all fees that we receive are being managed to sustain all regular choir expenses including its outreach activities and voluntary church donations.
